IMG_1644To honor National Donut Day we are providing you with the pattern to create your own donut. All you need to get started is your Clover Amour Crochet Hook and some yarn. 

Supplies:
Clover Amour Crochet Hook-Size G (Art No 1045/G)
Jumbo Darning Needle Set (Art No. 340)
Fiberfill stuffing

Yarn:
(Color A) Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice in Honey for the donut and
(Color B) Lion Brand Vanna’s Complement in Berrylicious

Crochet Terms:
Ch: Chain
Sc: Single Crochet
Dc: Double crochet
Tr: treble (triple) crochet
Dec: decrease
( ): number of stitches at the end of each round

Donut:
(Color A)
Ch 18
R1: sc in ea st (18)
R2: 2 sc in ea st. (36)
R3: sc ea st (36)
R4: *sc in next two sts, 2sc in next st repeat. (48)
R5-6: sc in ea st (48)
R7: *sc in next 7 st, 2 sc in next repeat. (54)
R8-12: sc in ea st (54)
R13: Dec to 48 sts
R14-15: sc in ea st (48)
R16: dec to 36 sts
R17: sc in ea st 36
R18: dec to 18 sts

Icing:
(Color B)
Ch 18. Join to make ring
R1: 1 sc in ea st (18)
R2: 2 sc in ea st. (36)
R3-5: 1 sc in ea st (36)
R6: *sc in st, dc in next st, tr in next two sts, dc in next st, sc in next st. *repeat to make cu

Use darning needle and yarn to whipstitch edges together stuffing donut as you go.
Use darning needle and yarn to attach icing to donut.
